New Zealand South Island Tour - 16-21 November 2008
We were in Christchurch on Sunday so we attended church in the Stake Center there, located on the road into the city from the airport. We were told at church that we needed to go next door to Mona Vale and view their gardens. It was owned by the Church in the 1960's and was the site of the mission home then. Our afternoon was spent exploring the city. It is known as the Garden City because of the many gardens in and around the city. The architecture is very Victorian. We fell in love with Christchurch.
